Management for multiple groin-related entities post hip joint arthroscopic surgery
To date there is limited evidence of post surgical management of FAI following hip joint arthroscopy surgery. Several rehabilitation protocols have previously been documented (Emara et al. 2011; Edelstein et al. 2012; Jayasekera et al. 2013; Pierce et al. 2013; Griffin et al. 2013; Takia-O’Donnell 2015). All of which includes managing weight bearing, hip joint range of motion, exercises and therapeutic treatment techniques (Wall et al. 2013). However, in spite of this, a recent scoping review highlighted 44% of patients fail non-surgical management approaches for hip joint FAI (Peters et al. 2017). Therefore, the purpose of this presentation is to highlight the management for multiple groin-related entities in patients that have previously failed rehabilitation post hip joint arthroscopic surgery.
